(The Movie I reference is no longer available on YouTube) 1. You need to count calories. We often eat more than we need because we simply forget to track what we've eaten. Sometimes we consume double the amount simply because we think some foods are lower in calories.....
vOnce, after parting ways, still lingering in the remnants of a fading love... Nurturing glimpses of magical memories, like the warm glow of the last sunrays in September... Riding the waves of sensations, over and over again, basking in fragments of sensual touch...
Love… Everything I’m going to tell you, you already know. I’m only going to remind you. I’m reminding you because when we are in the state of “What if no one ever loves me?” we forget everything. At that moment, we bang our heads against a wall, looking at it so closely – and all we see is that wall.
1. Ask for what you desire I know how it works in the Universe (Cosmos). I know the Universe is already working on my request. I know the law of attraction is already manifesting my request. All I need to do is release resistance and allow it to happen.
You think the Universe is like a big auntie, God is a wise uncle, and Creation is… well, some kind of loving force. Whoever they are, they all know each other, they hear us (except the ones who don’t believe in them), accept applications during business hours—which is always—and only respond when asked. Otherwise, they seem pretty chill. Unbothered, even. But if we believe they love us, somehow life starts reflecting that back.
People who love us often just want to see us happy. Thriving. Lighting up every room. It’s a beautiful wish—but it quietly implies that our value shows up only in joy. And that’s a problem.
As soon as the thought about the significance of self-perception in every area of life finally reached me (and I say “finally” because it really crawled to me — it took years), I began to hear about it on every corner. I mostly encounter these “corners” at work, listening to a series of audio files that come free with a subscription to Success magazine, which I recently signed up for. I must say, if you’re in the U.S. and can read in English, it’s probably the only magazine I’d recommend to everyone — no exceptions.
The most important thing in life isn’t just self-expression. Self-expression is undeniably important — after all, it is the very reason we exist: to express our individuality. But even more important than expressing yourself is helping others express themselves.
Beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder. Each of us lives in our own reality, perceiving the world just a little differently from everyone else. After my comedy class, I somehow opened up enough that the boundaries of my reality began to dissolve, and Amanda’s reality started to seep into mine.
It’s worth reminding ourselves often that destructive thoughts like “What terrible traffic,” “No one loves me,” or “I’m so sick” work just as effectively as any constructive thoughts—sometimes even more so when paired with strong emotions and sensations.
